Zimt Ceyloan has steadily evolved, establishing a strong foundation in the heart of Sri Lanka s cinnamon-growing region in the Southern Province, specifically in Kosgoda. The Nape mother estate spans 3 acres and has been a cornerstone of local cinnamon cultivation since 1975, initially serving the domestic market. In 2022, the next generation expanded the family business into the global market under the Zimt Ceyloan brand, continuing the legacy of quality and excellence. Since 2020, we have been adding additional estates to our portfolio, and in 2024, we will take a major step forward by incorporating leased estates for more robust production. Each estate has its own strong personality, shaped by the diverse soils of the Southern Province, and reflects the rich variety of the land. The Seasonal workers work on estates, they help keep pace with the seasons and produce the best cinnamon that is distinct in flavor and quality each with their own character, each with their own rhythms. Our commitment to sustainability ensures that these estates are preserved for future generations. We remain dedicated to safeguarding every aspect of the ecosystem, ensuring the longevity and health of the land that has sustained us for over five decades.
